Lesson 10: Centralisation is bad for your health - "Stop Being Brainwashed: Lessons for understanding ourselves and the world
Centralisation seizes power to subvert society
Welcome back, dear reader!
What follows is Lesson 10, Centralisation is bad for your health. Before we explore what this means and ascend further up the mountain on whose peak we shall plant the flag that marks the end of our brainwashing, let us take a moment to reflect.
In Lesson Zero (L9), we considered the hamster wheel of work and debt: running to stand still, financially. And now, we will turn our mind to centralisation.
Why is it bad for us?
How does it happen?
As ever, breathe in. Breathe out.
Relax.
You have nowhere to go, nothing to do.
You can pour yourself into this moment, the way you like most.
Let us begin.
Lesson Ten
Centralisation is bad for your health
Every time you hear someone talking about “consolidation” or “centralisation”, recognise this for what it is: a power grab. The total amount of power remains the same. But under centralisation it is held in fewer hands and subject to less scrutiny; it trends toward absolute power which corrupts absolutely. Even worse, this move to centralisation is part of a larger theme that has been accelerating since the 18th century.
In our modern times, the educational system has been bought out by those who seek power. Change agent training was used to destroy freewill and create obedient worker slaves to the fiat currency, interest rates and a lifetime of debt. By destroying individual will, in sessions designed to get people to reveal their innermost emotions, people could be more easily controlled, more willing to do what they are told. By centralising school boards it became possible for ever fewer people to control the brainwashing messages: the latest “narrative”.
Centralised social media and technology companies, with more money and power than elected politicians, have created mind control factories run by unelected “executives”. Because these companies track everything about your existence, they can predict your behaviours: they know how you will react in almost any situation. How does this tracking take place? In short, it happens because we let it happen. The longer answer is more technical. Essentially we enter contracts and accept products that offer convenience at the expense of free will. There are many ways to fight this constant manipulation, and take back control of your life, which we will review in the next section.
Remember to resist centralisation, in all its forms.
“You cannot play with the animal in you without becoming wholly animal, play with falsehood without forfeiting your right to truth, play with cruelty without losing your sensitivity of mind. He who wants to keep his garden tidy doesn't reserve a patch for weeds."
